Bernard Bossart, Omicron's president, has worked in various phases of the pharmaceutical and machine tool industries for the past 26 years. He founded Omicron in 2000 in recognition of the need to provide customized services to end users and technical assistance to manufacturers. We offer on-site technical support worldwide to meet our customers' individualized needs. Our experienced field service staff is trained in strict accordance with Omicron's high quality standards, which are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. Anticipating our customers' requirements for parts and accessories, we have established a policy of on-demand delivery of most items to almost any location in the world.

Mr. Bossart was educated in France, majoring in electrotechnics and automation systems. Following graduation, he worked for the Paris office of Siemens AG as a Field Service Engineer for eight years, including a year in Germany, and two years in the United States, where he specialized in numerical controls, electronic drives, and programmable interfaces (PLCs). He moved to the United States permanently in 1987 and became a U. S. citizen in 1991. Mr. Bossart left the machine tool industry at that time to join Fette America, a German tablet press manufacturer. In 1994 he became Field Service Manager for la Calhène, Inc., a French isolator manufacturer. Prior to founding Omicron in 2000, Mr. Bossart was Director of Field Services for Carlisle Barrier Systems, a manufacturer of isolators based in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. Mr. Bossart is fluent in English, French and German.
